my room

For absolutely no reason whatsoever, I took pictures of my room. After every picture is some explanatory text. If I was cool, I'd use flickr, and then you could click on little areas and get explanations directly. But I'm not. I'm less than cool.

curtains

These are some curtains I bought yesterday. I foolishly didn't iron them, so they will look like i've folded them into little squares for eternity.

television & bed

My television is how I dry my towels every morning. Fan, guitar, & my pj's folded up on my bed. Since I was little, I've slept with a fan blowing right on me. Must be excess body heat due to being portuguese, and all that entails.

light

In case you were curious about my ceiling.

my life in a picture

The most important part of my room. My books, my desk, and my computer. Those are shorts on my chair; don't know why they are there. The clothes on that little end table are to-be-ironed. The bags on the floor are for my camera. Yes, my room is always this clean.

books n stuff

Books and other stuff. Notice I like poetry. The camera next to the KEATS book is broken. That's my old computer (hostname:luffy) and my laptop (hostname:zoro), and an iron. You might recognize some of the political books I have on the 2nd shelf, or the first few volumes of One Piece on the top next to the incense. The top CD on that spindle is a puffy ami yumi cd my roommate gave me. The stacked CDs are almost entirely Pillows CDs he gave me to rip; that weird stack on the top shelf are japanese CD singles. I think 4 of them are identical.

all of my things

This is basically everything I own. The books there are japanese study books; they aren't that great. My mother made me that hat out of alpaca wool. My glasses perscription is 0.75 in each eye. Check is rent money. The longer remote controls my cheapo stereo system and is mostly useless. I think that little remote controls a fan that I don't have anymore.

awesome view

This is my totally awesome view.

neighbors

These are my neighbors. I don't think a telescope would do me much good.

chinese

There's a chinese restaurant next door. The smell of grease burnt at high heat wafts up to my windows all year. They make a huge fucking mess in the back.

games

These are the only video games I have left. They live in a box in my closet. You might be able to recognize a lot of them, especially if you read japanese or really like video games. Not pictured are my consoles, which include basically everything up until the current generation. I don't play video games, and I don't really like them.

coats

This is the rest of my closet. Those clothes on the top right are out of season. Most of the other shit is my girlfriend's.
